Chakra-Raja

The Sanskrit word Chakra-Raja may be translated as Lord or King of the circle. It indicates that the person so named holds supreme authority within that circle.

Within the International Nath Order, each zonule holder is the Chakra-Raja of their own zonule. At some public gatherings that authority is deferred to a visiting Guru or to a Nath of longer standing in the Kula. The title names a seat in a working circle. It is not a grade of the Order, not the psychic centers of the body, and not another word for Initiator.
