The Absolute is an all-encompassing spiritual reality and a goal to be attained. The idea is cognate with God. In Nath use it is the subject with which the Nath seeks re-integration and reunion.
Within the International Nath Order this is not a creed and not a person in the sky. Cosmic Spirit (Purusha) is the house name for that from which the human spirit comes and to which it returns. The Supreme Reality is Mahendranath’s short writing on the same search. Yoga is the yoke. Awakening is the experiential side. Gods and goddesses are forms, not a second Absolute. This page names the English word. It does not teach the reunion.
